It is hard to choose a memory or story of my Uncle David I have many happy ones.One that stands out is a bombfire night.I was only really young.They were having fireworks at Blackits.He was helping and had a huge bucket of sweets for the kids.I guess it's when I realised fireworks weren't for me.I hated loud noices so I started crying.Before I was taken home we went to see Uncle David.He gave me a big hug.That of course helped me feel better and he went right though the sweets to find a green lolly as he new that was my favourite colour.I have so many lovely stories I could share but that one I guess was the first to pop into my head.Him making me feel safe when I was scared.And his laugh was so infectious.That mischievous giggle.Thank you for all those happy memories Uncle David I will always love you xxx
